ComInTec VAR.D.E.A.C. MTZ series employs high performance wide variator V-Belts with Kevlar reinforced nylon fibers. The steel MTZ pulleys are often replacing complete pulley drives produced in Aluminum and are considered a very durable and reliable affordable solution to 25hp and speed ranges to 3.4:1.
The MTZ series is compact in size and affordably priced. The MTZ Tensioning pulley is designed with a self lubricating hub, and galvinized finished discs to provide years of no-maintenance trouble free service. The MTZ is used with a fixed diameter pulley and typically an adjustable motor base to allow easy change of center distance between the drive and driven shafts. As the center distance is increased, the MTZ pulleys spring backed faces move axially along the hub to functionally reduce the pitch diameter of the pulley while maintaining smooth and efficient power transmission by means of a high performance CWb type variable speed belt.
The system is ideally suited for applications where a high reliability is required, simple operation, and the absolute minimal of maintenance is desired. While the mechanical variable speed drive system of the MTZ pulleys is very simple and strait forward, the product is perfectly executed and there long trouble free life is expected. Maintenance is as easy as a simple belt inspection, and service parts is typically a spare belt. Such systems as the MTZ can be expected to last many, many years of trouble free performance.
